1. My understanding about multimedia.

Multimedia is derived from the words "multi" and ''media". Multi is the root word of multiple and many for the media. Multimedia is a combination of graphics, sounds, text and video that is delivered interactively to the user by electronic or digitally manipulated means. Hence. Web based multimedia is defined as online. Interactive experience that incorporates two or more media elements including text and more. This is also computer information that can be represented through audio, video, and animation in addition to traditional media. It is also a sequential or simultaneous use of a variety of media formats in a given presentation or self study program. 

Some examples of multimedia are the following;

• Concept/message

• Commercial 

• Short films 

• Publishing a book

• Develop a website. 

Again multimedia concerns the representation of mixed modes of information.

2. How do I use Multimedia? 

In today's environment, multimedia is highly used in daily life. Multimedia is used in all areas of the profession to enhance and advance it. Multimedia includes a computer-controlled combination of animation, text, video, graphics, images, audio, and other forms of media. It is a digital representation of all information that stores and transfers data. 

I use my multimedia as my entertainer. Multimedia is widely used in the entertainment industry. It is especially used to develop special effects in movies and video games. Music and video apps are the most glaring example of the rise of multimedia in entertainment. The use of multimedia in the gaming industry made it possible to make interactive games. The integrated audio and visual effects make video games more fascinating. Social Networking Apps along with multimedia tools allow users to watch and share photos/videos on social networking sites. Audiobook and eBook reader apps on smartphones let users carry a book without excess load.

I also use my multimedia in my online classes. The use of multimedia in virtual learning sessions enhances and deepens the experience. The virtual study sessions are enhanced and deepened by using multimedia. The global pandemic and virtualization of classrooms have increased the demand for multimedia in schools. 

And lastly, I use my multimedia to be entertained. The special effects and animation we all love and adore are all thanks to multimedia. It can make almost any imaginary world or beings come to life. The gaming industry has embraced Multimedia to provide a unique and versatile gaming experience and connect people all around the globe subsequently enhancing the experience.

3. What do you think is the significance of using Multimedia?

Multimedia is a useful mode of communication since it makes it easy to communicate and comprehend what others are saying. Multimedia then comprises animation, music, video, and other forms of the same. This can help you encourage others to pay attention to what you're saying. Multimedia settings can mimic and reinforce established teacher-led approach training by using pop-ups, linked questions, online resources, and animated reading coaches or e-tutors who engage in questioning, prompts, and think-aloud. We may also learn a lot more literature through multimedia and discover its value as one of the most important lessons in the world. Multimedia depicts all of the lovely characteristics of literature. In this study, students were found to benefit from the use of digital stories because they improved their understanding of the literary text, improved their English language skills, increased their participation in a language class, increased their engagement in personal response, and increased their interest in the literature lesson.
